Good afternoon Dogwood families,
This week Dogwood and Cedar learned about world music! The children spent a lot of time dancing and making music.
During small circle, the children sang: “Ring Around the Rosie”, “If All the Raindrops”…, and “The More We Get Together”.
The children read: Llama Llama Mad at Mama, Can You Say Peace? and I Am Sharing.
The children worked on their large motor skills when they hopped like bunnies and danced to music.
Practical life skills were used when, the children practiced putting on and taking off clothes in the dramatic play area.
During art, the children: made fish tanks by painting on saran wrap and made polka dot collages.
The children explored with: various toys in water and with glue!
