Good afternoon Garden and Mountain families,

This week the children learned about spring. Together we read In the Garden and Happy Bee.  The children sang “If all of the Raindrops . . .” and “Rain, Rain Go Away.”  The children were planning to plant an herb garden this week, but mother nature decided otherwise.  On Thursday and Friday, the children sang “If all of the Snowflakes!”

The children practiced sitting in their chairs this week and helping clean up their toys.  The children learning about inclined planes and gravity while rolling balls up the loft ramp.  The children climbed over mats and through tunnels, as well as pushed the small carts outside.

The children explored their senses by using play dough and digging in sand in the sensory table.  They also stuck stickers on paper.

During music with Ms. Kathleen, the children played shaker eggs.  The children also played a drum and danced to some songs by Talking Hands, Talking Feet.

This week we wished Charlotte a happy first birthday and we welcomed Jonah to the Garden room!  We hope you have a wonderful weekend.
