Parent Weekly Notes – April 14, 2017

Thank you for participating in our annual Usborne Book Fair.  The school earned over $700 in free books for the classrooms.  We appreciate your support!

NAEYC Week of the Young Child – April 24th-28th

The Week of the Young Child™ is an annual celebration hosted by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) celebrating early learning, young children, their teachers and families.   Treehouse will be celebrating all week with activities in each classroom.  Ways you can participate:

  • Music Monday – Sing, dance, celebrate, learn!
  • Tasty Tuesday – Healthy eating and fitness at home and at school
  • Work Together Wednesday – Work together, build together, learn together
  • Artsy Thursday – Think, problem solve, create
  • Family Friday – Sharing family stories

 

Conferences Next Week – River, Evergreen and Forest rooms. 

 

Coming Up:

May 5th – Spanish Fiesta – River Kindergarten Students.  4-5 pm

May 8-12th – Teacher Appreciation Week

May 11th – Muffins with Mom – 7:30-9:30 am.  Come enjoy a lovely start to your day.                                                Enjoy a muffin with your child, along with a special gift! 

May 19th – End of Year Picnic

May 25th – Forest and River Graduations

                        River at 11:00 am, lunch afterward at Lucky Pie

                        Forest at 3:30 pm, refreshments afterward in the adjacent park

June 1st – Summer Session Begins!

June 15th – Doughnuts with Dad

August 17th – 18th – Treehouse CLOSED for fall prep

August 21st – 1st Day Back for 2017-18 school year
